Original publisher's red cloth (very slightly rubbed at the corners) spine with six horizontal double fillet gilt rules; front and back covers with gilt scrolling leaf and branch design right up to single gilt borders -front cover with "DeatH & Immortality" within inner gilt border. Originally published anonymously, 1631, under title: Contemplatio mortis et immortalitatis.
