Salamone 1897-1986), Baron, heir to the title of the Falco family, a graduate in medicine, he was also mayor of Nicosia in the 1950s (if he is not a namesake). An Honorary bibliographic inspector, Salomone was a member of the Italian Library Association from1954 and participated in some national conferences starting in 1957. In May 1964 he was elected to the Board of Directors as a representative of the non-librarian members category and was then confirmed for the three-year period 1967-1969.
