The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testaments. Published by David Bryce and Son, Glasgow. 1901, 876 pages with illustrations. Bound in calf in the antique style. with a magnifying glass inside the back cover. Chained to ant oak lectern 514 high. A label under the base of the lectern describes it as a facsimile of those chained bibles found in some English Cathedrals. Produced for the Tercentenary Commemoration of the Authorised Version of the English Bible. In its original box with a pictorial label, which is very rare.
